About

About me

Over my 25 year career, I’ve worn many hats; mother, grandmother, teacher, and coach. While teaching hundreds of kids I learned to help their parents create habits that work to solve both day-to-day and long-term problems.

I am an avid athlete and have enjoyed coaching children’s athletics because it teaches communication, (teamwork), confidence, self-esteem, and discipline. In fact, throughout my career, I coached middle school sports in all the schools where I taught!

Childhood is a complicated time in everyone’s lives and each child creates unique and exciting challenges for any parent. There is no one size fits all program for success, that is why I’m excited to help you learn how to meet the temperamental needs of your child in a way that’s caring and helpful to all of you.

I am not a therapist but I am a coach. That means I  provide a nonjudgmental and understanding advice while offering unique observations. Using my core values of Community, Service, Unity, Integrity,  Equality, Simplicity, and Peace I will walk you through valuable techniques to help your family get through anything life throws your way.

The strategies that I use are researched-based and personally tested. I will help you learn how to communicate with your child in a calm loving way that is engaging and respectful.

So, if you’re tired of feeling exhausted, angry, or frustrated when it comes to parenting, feel free to reach out. I can help you learn how to more effectively improve your relationship and communicate with your children.

My work

Parenting is a wonderful and exhausting journey. Daily struggles for children of any age is something we all deal with. If left unchecked, however, these struggles can persist and become serious issues as your children grow.

Ask yourself a few of these questions:

  • Do you feel like your children aren’t reaching their highest potential?

  • Do outbursts undermine your child’s successes?

  • Is it difficult to motivate your children to do their homework or help out around the house?

  • Do you wish that you could develop a daily routine?

  • Are you going out of your way to avoid the daily tantrum?

  • Do problems with authority make parenting harder for you?

If you find yourself answering “yes” to any of these questions- it’s ok! You’re not alone and I’m here to help.

I know your time is valuable, so my job isn’t just to tell you, “everything will be ok”, or to suggest expensive routines that are impossible to follow. Over my career, I’ve learned how to make smart, practical fixes to these problems for any parent.

We call it a labor of love for a reason! So if you want to stop yelling, stop lecturing, improve your relationships, and make parenting fun again, drop me a line.
